Position Summary

This position is a key member of the global IT team that works collaboratively with IT and business leaders to develop and execute change and learning strategies for technology enablement initiatives. Responsibilities include developing project-based change management strategies, communication, training and follow-on implementation support activities for IT initiatives. This position also develops and executes communication and training for collaboration, productivity tool changes and IT outages with business impacts.

Accountabilities

Universal Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute change and training strategies for IT initiatives in collaboration with business and IT leaders and project managers.

  • Develop change impact and stakeholder analyses and identify training and communication requirements.

  • Develop relevant and high-quality communication plans and deliverables. This includes developing and facilitating change network meetings, ways of working workshops, stand-up meetings, and conducting the required follow-up. It also includes developing communication tools, including videos, multi-media materials, technical bulletins, posters, e-mail, newsletters, etc.

  • Develop relevant and high-quality instructional training materials for IT efforts using Adult Learning theory, interactive training techniques and change management principles. Assist with the creation of on-line learning (WBT, simulations, Intranet-based education, etc.).

  • Utilizing blended learning platforms, coordinate and assist with the facilitation of technology training programs as part of IT initiatives to support technology adoption and learning retention. Conduct, compile and summarize measurement analysis to quantify effectiveness of change and training programs. This may include monitoring employee learning progress and coordinating refresher training for business users.

  • Assist with facilitating the knowledge transfer and capacity building with key users to enable the business to effectively conduct ongoing training.

  • Stay current on change management, instructional design, communication and learning practices and solutions.

  • Maintain and administer IT learning repository and tools, serve as point of contact for IT training, and provide insight on continuous improvement opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Communication, Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems or related field required

  • Three or more years of experience with communication, instructional design, training and change management planning and delivery in a corporate IT environment

  • Proven experience with business process design, change impact analysis, organizational/job design principles and learning delivery methods to drive behavior change and technology adoption

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ANCILE uPerform or other simulation documentation tools, and familiarity with web conference and other distance learning tools

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a concise and user-friendly way for multiple levels of business stakeholders, including presenting to groups for the purpose of engaging the audience in meaningful learning

  • Self-started with the ability to quickly learn new applications, work independently and collaborate effectively within distributed teams

  • Effective organizational and project management skills with the ability to deliver OCM tasks on multiple projects at the same time with competitive needs and deadlines

  • A continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset with proven ability to troubleshoot issues

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Prosci or similar Change Management methodologies

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with global implementation projects

  • Located at suburban St. Louis, MO corporate headquarters

  • Domestic and international travel may be required on global implementation projects
