Position Summary

Oversees North America inventory and scheduling responsibilities for assigned plants and/or third-party manufacturers (TPM). Maintains capacity plans and weekly production schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives. Responsibilities may also include inventory stock transfer / replenishment. Identifies ways to improve planning processes and tools for assigned areas.

Accountabilities

  • Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals.

  • Maintain data integrity in systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics.

  • Utilize systems to proactively identify and communicate key drivers and proposed solutions to service and inventory issues.

  • Maintain, review and update all monthly inputs used to calculate safety stocks and inventory targets.

  • Supply Chain category lead for daily service response process, in conjunction with Customer Service and Transportation (others as needed).

  • Provide backup and support for other Supply Chain functions, as assigned.

  • Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics versus established targets. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.

  • Participate on special projects as required.

  • Accountable for inventory stock transfer / plant to distribution center replenishment.

  • Determines inventory replenishment needs in the supply network based on unconstrained requirements.

  • Accountable for ensuring the right product, at the right place, at the right time to fill customer orders at the lowest total delivered cost.

  • Identifies and researches system issues that interfere with replenishment processes.

  • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to cross functional partners.

  • Identifies ways to improve processes and tools for assigned areas.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field required

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management required.

  • Experience with ERP software; knowledge of SAP IBP strongly desired.

  • Strong Excel skills required.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time required.

  • APICS or CPIM certification a plus.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work environment that includes up to two to three days a week in the office and the remaining days remote.
