Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of the company's SAP Central Finance and Group Reporting applications. As a Sr. analyst, this position will be responsible for assisting with reporting requests, metadata and mapping changes, loading financial data, supporting system security and supporting/coordinating software updates and patches as needed. Additionally, this position will be responsible for assessing system requirements and designing and implementing solutions in support of the company's financial data analysis and financial reporting requirements. This position will work with people at various levels within the company's finance, controllership and information technology departments and will act as a technical subject matter expert for Group Reporting.

Accountabilities

  • Maintain integrity of system metadata, dimensionality, business rules, and reporting.

  • Analyzing Enhancement/change request for validity and amount of work.

  • Provide outstanding end user support, including ongoing development and delivery of business training documentation.

  • Ensure the monthly close, forecast, and plan processes runs smoothly by addressing issues loading and transferring data.

  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning from personal skill development standpoint and technology/industry perspective.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Providing support, maintenance and the continuing development of our consolidation application Group Reporting, and related processes to ensure all financial information needed to effectively run the business and comply with applicable regulations is both accurate and timely.

  • Providing subject matter expertise to ensure system development activities are in sync with Energizer’s strategic vision and corporate initiatives.

  • Anticipating, identifying, tracking and resolving issues and risks affecting the OneStream applications and management reports.

  • Developing training manuals, and delivering in-person or web-based training sessions to end users.

  • Establish and maintain system user-roles, and security including access, functionality, reporting, system maintenance and other attributes associates with using the system.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, 3+ years of experience with Accounting or Large Market FP&A. Experience in Financial Software Applications required

  • Experience communicating between controllership and IT

  • Understand business requirements vs system/infrastructure capabilities

  • Experience in User Management or System Administration

  • Previous training and support experience a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience with Group Reporting, BPC or S/4 HANA a plus
