Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Sales & Operations Execution is a critical position responsible for the successful application of the S&OE process globally. The role is responsible for improving the global S&OE process. This includes shaping the cadence, facilitation and adherence to commitments made through the S&OE process. This person works with Supply and Demand Planning keeps participants and in the process on track and moving toward resolution of demand and supply plans for the defined S&OE cadence.

Responsibilities

  • S&OE Meeting Facilitation Support and Guidance :Support to facilitator regional S&OE meetings, ensuring that all information is presented, all stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made and execution plans articulated with owners and completion dates. Follow up and hold appropriate personnel accountable for agreed upon action items.

  • Sustain and Improve the Process:Ensure that the S&OE process is sustained and effectively yields desired results. Review the S&OE process to ensure its alignment with contemporary best practices and is suitable for our dynamic business needs.

  • Product Changes Roadmaps: Ensure that portfolio changes are planned with multifunctional team. This includes new product introduction (NPI) and discontinuation plans. Ensure that NPI and discontinuation plans have been properly communicated and are included as an input to the demand planning process.

  • Demand Control: Ensure the demand review process happens on time, helping the multifunctional team to comply with the requirements and actively participate and contribute as per their defined roles.

  • Supply Control: Ensure that the supply review process is followed and is provided as input to the S&OE step of the process. Make sure that supply constraints are clearly spelled out with options to make trade-offs.

  • Assist in Root Cause Analysis: Help with Root Cause Analysis process adherence

  • Standardize our strategic S&OE processes, ensuring balance of demand and supply while optimizing customer service. Ensure execution in North America and Modern Markets and share structure for Developing and Distributor

  • Ensure all data generated via S&OE is timely and accurate, and shared with the appropriate personnel

  • Hold contributing personnel, including leadership, to account for agreed actions, mitigation of risk and realization of opportunities as identified in the S&OE process. Escalate as appropriate

  • Influence senior leaders across Energizer

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering. MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or equivalent preferred

  • Minimum of seven years of experience with four years in S&OP, demand and/or supply planning

  • Knowledge and experience in SAP, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) highly sought and/or MRP and ERP systems inventory control, materials requirements planning, demand planning, and advanced supply chain planning and analytics

  • Deep knowledge in planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, new products introduction, material planning and S&OP process

  • Strong skills as a meeting facilitator with the ability to keep a meeting on track while engaging all stakeholders and driving to a set of decisions that can be executed in the business

  • Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders across the organization, including listening to understand multiple viewpoints and their relevance to the success of S&OP outcomes

  • Skilled at working with teams of people with disparate opinions and agendas to develop common outcomes, strategies, and plans. Builds sense of team goals, focusing team toward those ends while balancing trade-offs in each stakeholder community

  • Is a change agent and not satisfied with the status quo and works proactively to continually improve

  • Focused on ensuring that all data and activities are managed at an appropriate level of detail to ensure an accurate demand and supply plan

  • Focuses on most important and relevant topics through identification of impact on business results

  • CPG background preferred

  • Exposure and understanding of global supply chain dynamics and considerations

  • Influential leadership of global organization and senior management

  • Reports directly to Senior Director, Integrated Business Planning

  • Will closely partner with Sales, Customer Supply Chain, Internal/External Suppliers, Operations, Procurement, Finance

  • Willing to travel domestically & internationally – up to 10% in total
