We are currently seeking talented students to participate in our Supply Chain / Logistics Intern Program for the spring/summer and Fall of 2021. The Intern will work at our Global Headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
In addition to providing the opportunity to work on meaningful, real world projects, we offer: Excellent earnings opportunity. Some of the area’s students will be involved in include:
Supply Chain and Logistics:
Daily transportation operations involvement
Utilize Transportation Management Software (TMS) to optimize mode selection, consolidation,
and improved on time service.
Manage selected projects in Supply Chain/Logistics Management for continuous improvement in efficiency, cost optimization, etc.
Supply Chain performance reporting
Manage International Air bids and Ocean container tracking
Relationship-building with carriers and negotiation exposure
Cross-functional team meetings/projects with Customer Supply Chain
Opportunity to shadow other areas of business within Energizer to get a better understanding what they do.
Required Skills and Experience
Qualified students should have a major in Business Management or related field, have completed their sophomore year of study, and should also have:
Systems knowledge / aptitude (Microsoft Excel a must, Microsoft Access preferred)
Transportation knowledge beneficial but not necessary
Ability to work with minimum direction
Experience working within a team environment
Candidates must be authorized to work full time in the U.S.
Minimum GPA 3.0
