Position Summary

This professional position provides guidance to the total rewards team in the analysis and execution of

programs and policies related to global retirement, including vendor management. In addition, this role supports key areas related to the overall Total Rewards team.

Functional Knowledge: Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in retirement programs for the US and Canada (401K, non-qualified plans, and basic knowledge of defined benefits plans (preferred), and benefits programs

Business Expertise: Has knowledge of best practices and how the retirement area integrates with others (rewards, benefits); is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Leadership : Vendors or project teams to execute global retirement and benefits strategy

Problem Solving: Directs the resolution of complex problems applying advance analytical thought and judgment

Impact : Impacts results of Global responsibilities

Interpersonal Skills: Negotiates with and influences others internally and externally

Specific Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of retirement programs and vendors.

  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party providers that facilitate high service levels to the client base, streamline administrative processes and ensure internal and external compliance standards are met.

  • Monitor programs to ensure they comply with plan documentation, local regulations and monitor the market for changes and trends in similar offerings.

  • Collaborate with vendors and as necessary other stakeholders on communications and education.

  • Respond to elevated colleague issues and concerns, as necessary.

  • Assist with analysis of DC and Defined Benefit (DB) plan data

  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in files; instruct providers with correction needed; authorize wire transfer for DC contributions to be deposited to participant accounts

  • Provide data for year-end testing and 5500s as required for plans and act on results

  • Provide data for year-end DC true-up analysis if applicable; examine the file to ensure compliance with the true-up provisions within the plan; authorize wire transfer for funds into participant accounts

  • Provide US non-qualified plan payments to payroll for processing in accordance with the plan

  • Maintain plan descriptions and support for proxy, and other compliance activities as necessary

  • Governance as it relates to the global retirement programs. Subject matter expert to internal retirement (RISC) governance

  • Participation in local and global surveys

  • Retirement compliance (ERISA, 409CapA, etc.)

  • Execute strategy and work with the vendor to ensure colleague experience and plan design execution

  • Partner with local HR to identify potential opportunities, understand market trends and challenges. Keep local HR informed on the design of new retirement changes to meet talent needs while ensuring a cost-effective benefits structure.

  • Perform necessary global rewards analytics to help ROI on rewards $ and leverage on analytics to help the business make performance-driven decisions.

  • Complete CEO pay ratio and provide other compensation data for Proxy

  • May perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

  • 4-7 years of work specializing in Defined Contribution Plans within a complex organization

  • Strong Presentation skills – verbal communication

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. Advanced Excel required - Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & VLOOKUP)

  • Project planning and execution, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work across cultures

  • Flexibility on work schedule to work with international colleagues and vendors when required

  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Vendor/customer management experience
