Energizer Associate Manager, Brand Activation in St. Louis (Remote), Missouri

Position Summary

The Associate Brand Activation Manager will help with the development and execution of national promotional marketing tactics for the Auto Care business with a focus on the Performance and Refrigerants sub-categories. In addition, this position supports the Sr. Manager and Brand Activation Manager in the day to day operations of the brand activation team.


  • Develops, executes and evaluates consumer promotions for Performance and Refrigerants (STP & AC) in North America

  • Supports North America Activation Team in local execution of marketing plans across all sub-categories

  • Has an understanding on key drivers for the business

Specific Accountabilities

  • Supports Category Leader in execution of annual marketing plan in accordance with Global marketing plan.

  • Supports the execution of local STP and AC PRO marketing tactics along the path to purchase, including store displays, promotional packs, content marketing, point of purchase etc. to help drive conversion

  • Leads development, execution and evaluation of US coupon and FSI strategy across all sub-categories

  • Provides market intelligence to Americas and Global teams as input into strategy development

  • Maintains department budget, reporting, PO creation and reconciliation

  • Works cross functionally with trade, sales planning, marketing operations, shopper marketing, category management to ensure flawless and on time execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Maintains NA websites, Price Spider and other updates for all sub-categories

  • Manages social media platforms for Canadian market

  • Supports customer meetings and trade shows as required

  • May also perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree required with preference on Business, Marketing or Finance; MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5 years business experience

  • Must collaborate well and work well cross functionally

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • CPG background preferred

  • Fluent in English Language

  • Auto experience a plus

Working Relationships & Environment

Reports to Sr. Manager, North America Activation

Key relationships internally will include Commercial, Category, Trade & Shopper Marketing Teams.
