Energizer is seeking an experienced global inclusion and diversity leader for a new role reporting to the Chief Human Capital Officer. The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is a strategic role focused solely on diversity strategy and initiatives for the organization. S/he will bring external expertise and internal partnership to global leaders, business groups, and HR workstream leaders. The Director DEIB will build the Energizer community, identify and deliver training, measure, monitor, and improve our company diversity initiatives ensuring Energizer is representative of the communities and customers we serve. The Director, DEIB is the diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging leader for the organization. The right candidate will lead through influence, inspiration, collaboration, and execution. This role requires effective communication, change management, and partnership at all levels of the organization.

This position provides leadership, direction, and strategic counsel to the global organization concerning our overall diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging program, including ongoing evolution and development in a rapidly changing company and industry environment
The Director DEIB will be an ambassador for the organization and build relationships with the senior leadership team, internal teams, and key partners
Partner with senior leaders to create, prioritize and lead the execution of company-wide programs to advance global diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging. Align diversity efforts across the enterprise to share internal best practices
As a subject matter expert, externally benchmark, advise the Leadership team on external best practice I&D strategies and implement programs that drive impact
Develop data-driven approaches to influence decision-making practices and communication of organizational success stories
Work with Global Leaders to ensure that all colleagues have a safe and respectful workplace, regardless of their race, gender, age, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or disability
Communicate frequently with executive stakeholders to understand the unique needs of our global workforce
Develop and deliver effective DEIB communication and training programs for the organization.
Track and implement metrics for measuring the effectiveness of DEIB initiatives. Report on milestone progress toward strategic priorities and contribute to annual ESG Sustainability and Human Capital reports.
Partner with the broader HR team to assess and mutually advance the effectiveness of equality, diversity, and inclusion in programs throughout the employment lifecycle.
Inspire and facilitate an environment of effective communication, teamwork, and recognition across DEIB stakeholders

Drive an educational program to enhance open communication, collaborative environment and challenge our thinking,
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years management/leadership experience including 5+ years relevant experience managing global inclusion, diversity, and equity projects
Experience leading global inclusion initiatives, such as organization-wide diversity training and multicultural speaker events
Demonstrated leadership qualities including the ability to build strategic alignments with key constituents across the Company
Strong people and change management skills
Ability to make solid judgment calls under pressure
Compassionate with the ability to listen as well as challenge and find common ground
Superior oral and written communication skills
Successful track record implementing/creating an inclusive culture in which diversity and business objectives are mutually reinforcing
Strong motivation and ability to champion a comprehensive DEIB program that is integrated with the Company’s business planning, operations, and culture
High levels of energy, positivity, honesty, communication, collaboration, influence, creativity, change management and drive.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Management experience in a global publicly traded corporation
Human resources compliance and understanding of global Fair Pay as well as EEOC guidelines.
Proven experience developing global engagement, retention, and inclusion initiatives and programs.
Experience providing guidance to global executives across a variety of different roles and disciplines
Working Relationships & Environment
Reports to Chief Human Capital Officer
Key relationships internally include global leaders and human resources business partners and specialists
Advisor to the Global DEIB Council, employee resource groups, and business DEIB groups
- Minimal travel required.
