Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, looking to launch their career in the FMCG Industry. The Business Account Executive (BAE) plays a key support role working with the National Account team to ensure our channel strategies are successfully implemented.

This is a developmental position, coaching is provided while supporting the National Account Managers on major accounts, at the same time gaining ‘hands on' experience to manage your own accounts.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress in not only account management but potentially category development, branding or other functions.

Accountabilities

  • Managing Trade Spend and Financial Reporting

  • Promotional Evaluation

  • Field Team Communications

  • Assisting with product range reviews and presentations

  • NPD launch planning

  • Relationship management with relevant retailer contacts in Tier 1 customers

  • Customer management with allocated Tier 2 and Tier 3 customer

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in FMCG or retail experience (in roles such as: Sales Representative, Territory Manager)

  • University Degree Qualified

  • Strong analytical skills, can interpret

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint). Nielsen and/or IRI would be an advantage

     

     

Working Relationships & Environment

Reporting into the Chanel Director, this role works closely with National Account Manager team. You will be challenged but supported to succeed. Internally you will also work cross-departmentally with Trade Marketing, Field, Supply, Finance and Marketing. Occasional travel to inter-state when required.
