The Customer Supply Chain Manager ANZ will lead the ANZ Customer Supply Chain teams for Energizer, to support the corporate vision of maximizing value to the consumer and providing outstanding service levels to our trading partners through effective order management, appropriate financial controls and efficient and responsive Supply Chain processes.Come join our team!

Position Summary

The Customer Supply Chain Manager ANZ will lead the ANZ Customer Supply Chain teams for Energizer, to support the corporate vision of maximizing value to the consumer and providing outstanding service levels to our trading partners through effective order management, appropriate financial controls and efficient and responsive Supply Chain processes.

Accountabilities

The Customer Supply Chain Manager ANZ is accountable to the Senior Director/Director International Modern/Developing & Distributor for all Customer Services activities across ANZ market/region, including:

  • Order to Invoice process, including credit and debit notes

  • Returns processing

  • Customer response – enquires, order forms, track & trace

  • Managing costs within budget

  • Optimization of operations including leveraging shared service centres and third party providers

  • Driving sustained achievement of expected service levels

  • Representing Supply Chain in cross functional collaboration and engagement

  • Process simplification and standardization including driving Value to Serve initiatives in CSC

  • Participating in projects including deployment and operation of IT systems (EDI, SAP, Hybris)

Specific Accountabilities

  • Service level measures including CFR/VFR/LIFR and key customer OTIF/DIFOT

  • Cost management for CSC team

  • Achievement of VTS initiatives

  • On time completion of activation/promotion activities or customer/business projects

  • Reporting

  • Timely customer response

Required Skills and Experience

  • Educated to University degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline

  • Proven track record of Management within Sales, Customer Service or Supply chain domains.

  • Multicultural awareness & sensitivity

  • Knowledge of FMCG/CPG/MT commercial trading practices

  • Strong customer service and cost optimization focus

  • Very good communicator (both written and verbal)

  • Able to hold self and others accountable – to take ownership of rapid change management

  • Results oriented – able to deliver results in the fast moving environment

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Negotiation and influence skills

  • Cross-functional teamwork and leadership

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Self- starter – able to work on own initiative

  • Ideally, experience should have been gained in a consumer product environment, in a large multi-national company or major retailer

  • Strong awareness of trends & innovations in Customer Supply Chain practices

  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain and associated systems (e.g. SAP, EDI)

  • Fluency in English in addition to be able to speak one/two other European languages

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Reports to Senior Director / Direct International Modern Markets / Developing & Distributor markets

  • Participate in Supply Chain leadership team

  • Cross functional representative of supply chain to business functions

  • External collaboration with Customers, shared service centres and third party providers in logistics or Supply Chain functions

  • Internal collaboration : Sales Team, Finance & Controllership (including accounts receivable & customer and pricing master data management), Demand & Supply Planning , Marketing
