Position Summary

To drive sales and category solutions in at state, retail group or store level to achieve a designated sales target within budgetary constraints


  • Sales Planning

  • Develop and deliver customer sales plans and utilizing available National Customer Business Plans, marketing programs and data (such as Aztec and Nielson) to reach specific customer targets.

  • Follow a call and customer contact cycle across IND Food, ELWS, ELR and IND HDW channels across assigned state/region.

  • Clear accountability of time invested with customers through documentation within CRM tool.

  • Customer Management & Market Intelligence

  • Managing distribution and sales performance of the assigned MSO groups (as aligned with RM and NAMs) across Channel/ Account portfolio.

  • Managing productive relationships with larger MSO Merchandise managers and Metcash State Distribution Managers

  • Regional lead on engagement with Major ELWS customers for tenders etc

  • Working with NAM, RM and 3rd Party on ensuring store standards and compliance of execution in line with paid expectations in core customers (selected customers/channels)​

  • Servicing remote and regional Australia within your assigned state across full account / channel portfolio

  • Providing information regarding industry or sector status and recommended plans to maximize future business.

  • Services current accounts to meet sales targets through effective state/in-store selling

  • Escalation of non-compliance of paid executions

  • Maintains close contact with customers and potential customers to ensure that the Company’s products continue to meet customer requirements and to gather information regarding future plans

  • Develops and implements account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirements (sell in new-line ranging, planograms, promotions, achieve full assigned range distribution)

  • Monitors developments in the assigned channel category or state to forecast the opportunities for Company products.

  • Supports customer service and continuous improvement initiatives through application of Energizer Excellent philosophies

  • Financial Management

  • Achieves sales & share targets within assigned accounts, with a core focus on Independent food MSO’s, and Electrical WHS

  • OH&S and Company Compliance

  • Responsible for communicating identified workplace hazards to their direct manager / supervisor; performing their job requirements in accordance with EAPL Occupation Health & Safety Policy and respective state Work Cover Guidelines.

  • Responsible for personally adhering to all Energizer Policies and procedure sand / or notifying your direct manager / supervisor if a breach is witnessed.
