Position Summary
The Sr Analyst, Product Costing will be an integral part of the Global Product Costing Team supporting many other groups within the organization. Primary duties will be to provide ongoing product costing throughout the year and during the annual budget processes at one or more plants, provide analysis for the month-end closing(s), and participate in various costing related projects as they arise.
Responsibilities
Product Costing & Analysis :
Work with Supply Chain, Procurement, and PCOE teams to cost new products, revise BOMs/routings, and perform cost runs.
Conduct annual product re-costing and reconcile year-on-year changes.
Maintain standard cost details, assess purchase prices/subcontracting costs, and manage Transfer Price files for affiliates.
Financial & Budgeting Support :
Collaborate with the Plant Controller and teams to develop budgets and track costing changes.
Complete finance costing tasks within MDG/CDR workflows, and support monthly close with variance analysis.
Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement :
Participate in SAP integrations, costing projects, and process improvements.
Optimize costing inefficiencies and support management initiatives through cost engineering.
Cross-functional & Project Support :
Estimate costs for new products, manufacturing changes, and provide financial impact analyses.
Act as SME for product costing and train teams on processes and systems.
Track efficiency/productivity metrics and support related projects.This role drives accurate product costing, budgeting, and cost optimization across the organization.
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or Associate degree with significant relevant experience).
Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Cost Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with SAP, particularly in product costing and cost accounting.
Expertise in database management and data mining techniques.
