Position Summary
The Facility Engineer (FE) reports into the Maintenance Facility Manager. He/She will be taking on supervision on plant and facility engineering and maintenance to assure that manufacturing continuity are met through safe and quality workplace and good service response to all customers.
Responsibilities
As the main first response for facilities and equipment breakdowns, the senior facility engineer will be managing and leading the team of in-house technicians in following through the routine inspections, rectification of general plant defects and ad-hoc maintenance repairs.
Conducts routine inspection of all installations, facilities, equipment, and plant property to ensure the maintenance tasks are completed within the schedule.
Ensure the infrastructure and facilities comply with relevant and updated authority regulations and codes of practices.
Conducts root cause analysis and recommend for improvement works or enhancement to planned maintenance.
What we are looking for
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Facility Building Management. Advanced diploma or diploma holders with rich experience are encouraged to apply.
In-depth technical and hands on background. Experienced in project management.
Preferably relatable/relevant experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries. Excellent knowledge in facility equipment i.e., chillers, compressors, air handling unit (AHU), boilers.
Demonstrated experience in facility management in a large-scale manufacturing facility.
Experienced in budget management and financial analysis skills.
Possess high standards of integrity and urgency.
Charismatic personality who is a valuable team player with excellent leadership qualities.
