Position Summary

The Sales Director, Poland will lead, direct, and control all Energizer commercial activities (and indirectly the overall business) to achieve both short and long-term financial and operating objectives (for example increased profitability, productivity, or market share) for the Polish market. The role reports into the Business Director, Modern Markets DACHPOL (based out of Germany) and will manage a team of Key Account Managers and the Polish Sales Field Force.

The role offers being part of an exciting matrix organization with cross functional responsibilities and international exposure.


  • Lead the commercial strategy of Poland to deliver budgeted sales. Implement and influence a category management approach that increases category share, drives optimum distribution, and develops competitive advantage.

  • Represent the company with customers, suppliers and external stakeholders and actively contribute to strategic direction and positive transformation of the business.

  • Build and develop an effective Commercial Leadership

  • Drive strong market execution & visibility

  • Work closely with the HR Department in the commercial organization to design changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • Identify business performance gaps and opportunities and support local business initiatives in building the organization and identify growth opportunities

  • Create strong business relationships with key customers to identify and pursue the scopes for business development

  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship

  • Represent the organization to customers and professional associations

  • Drive and develop the roadmap for promotion, products, and pricing into the overall business strategies to achieve sales targets and stay within budgeted spent levels

  • Ensure a forecasting process is implemented and incorporating adjustments as appropriate

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Business or related discipline

  • Minimum of 10 years commercial experience with a reputable FMCG company with at least 3 years of team management experience and established relationships with Polish retailers.

  • Must have a proven track record of successfully delivering financial target with strong result driven mindset
