Position Summary

Driving the day-to-day activity of the Washington Distribution Centre and provide a consistent and clearly visible leadership role. Develop and implement strategies to improve Distribution efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Planning, Production) to meet customer demand, whilst ensuring regulatory compliance in all aspects of Distribution, including H & S and Customs requirements.


  • Personnel – Training, Development, Communication, Discipline, Priorities.

  • Productivity – Outputs, Order Accuracy, Order shipment adherence, FIFO management, Aged stock prevention.

  • Workflow – Manage accuracy of Raw Materials and Finished Goods figures. Manage workflow instructions into Department.

  • Systems – Experienced SAP user, fully competent with Export documentation.

  • Quality – Right first-time approach, manage specific customer requirements.

  • Performance – develop, maintain and share KPI’s for Department.

What we are looking for

  • Previous Distribution Management experience

  • Experienced SAP user

  • Experience of Export/Customs documentation preparation

  • 3PL Management experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Numerate and analytical

  • Excellent PC skills – Excel/Word

  • Good attention to detail & time management

  • Flexibility
