This position is based at our Rayovac site located in Washington, Tyne & Wear, UK and manages the forecasting process to ensure the business is provided with an accurate and up to date forecast at all times. To recognize, follow and analyze trends in the market. To prepare and present reports detailing market trends to assist in marketing and production strategy decisions
Manage and control APO SAP forecasting system
Creation of new item masters in APO
Analyse market trends & technical developments
Manage S&OP process - forecast review meetings
Track and measure forecast accuracy
Error reporting by sku/customer
Sales versus forecast statistic reporting
Support project teams to ensure the successful implementation of new products
Work closely with the Supply Chain & Sales teams

Excellent communication skills
Ability to deal with people at all levels
Keen and enthusiastic
Knowledge and Experience
Forecasting experience essential
Good analytical skills
Advanced excel & presentation skills
Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and good organisation skills
Problem solving & statistical analysis
Exceptional spreadsheet and pivot skills
Mini-tab/statistical knowledge would be an advantage
