Position Summary

The Trade Marketing Executive (TME) – Global Hearing Aid Batteries, will be responsible for managing and implementing business development programmes to drive business growth consistent with the marketing cycle plan and global direction. They are responsible for delivering brand activation and PL programmes with any language or cultural adaptions as well as consulting and aligning with commercial. Therefore, ensuring activation plans are legal, workable and effective and in line with global strategies and priorities to drive growth and profitability within brand and PL guidelines.

Accountabilities

  • The TME manages the execution of marketing plans across multiple locations in line with global marketing cycle plan. Driving customer and consumer interest to meet agreed brand/PL, sales, share and gross margin targets

  • Responsible for the private label programme management including the business case development/review, approvals process and activation of PL’s, ensuring they meet margin expectations

  • Analyses, evaluates and reports (ROI) out implementation of key plans and activities on business and brand equity to maximize effectiveness and provide future improvement.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Develop with commercial, compelling customer presentations/proposals and portfolios, based on the trade stories, using persuasive fact-based arguments, category dynamics and customer/consumer insights that enable EHI and partners to benefit from profitable growth. Responsible for also building close relationships, educating customers on the category and where needed attending and present in customer meetings

  • Works with commercial to develop ‘PL products’, initiating E-GAP, GAP and MDG process through to artwork development and approval. All files uploaded to HIVE. Then handing over to the ‘Marketing Operations Executive’ – for implementation. Including project managing new none-standard SKUs development and evaluation. Leading the opportunity evaluation and liaise with internal departments to assess the options/viability/costs etc

  • Executes the delivery of customer and consumer – campaigns, communications and new product launches

  • Understands different market positions and circumstances and works with Commercial teams to develop and execute plans to maximize market impact.

  • Works closely with commercial partners to maximize opportunities and ensure effective implementation of strategies and plans within major channels and customers.

  • Manages adaptation of global communication assets (including translation/cultural) to be utilized in the market under guidance from Global team. Coordinates with and manages local creative/activation agencies as required.

  • ProLine’ B2B custom imprint, approvals and updating system/SAP with article numbers, including ProLine/Imprintable save downs

  • Supports the team in budget management, reporting, PO creation and reconciliation

  • May also perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or similar discipline.

  • 2 years business experience working in B2B or consumer goods marketing, category or sales

  • Experience of working directly with customers or sales teams

  • Project management experience

  • Leadership capability

  • Building relationships – Establishing strong relationships and serving customers

  • Technical competencies

  • MS proficiency

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Agency management experience preferred

  • Preferred, ability to interpret data (equity, research, share, sales) and provide recommendations
